GLS via myFulfillment ships orders from any channel that feeds myFulfillment: the order drops into the OMS, preparation is checked, the GLS shipment is created at packing and the parcel number flows back to the channel to trigger the customer notification. Yes, as long as your parcels leave from France: the integration rides your GLS France customer account. Merchants fulfilling from a French warehouse or 3PL connect their stores and marketplaces to myFulfillment and ship on the GLS network like a domestic seller.
Through myFulfillment the connection happens once, at OMS level: your stores feed myFulfillment, which creates the GLS shipment at packing and returns the parcel number to each channel. In France the connection runs on GLS ShipIT: the myFulfillment connector uses a ShipIT account (not a Web API login), over REST JSON, on the fr01 or fr02 territory endpoint depending on your account. You integrate none of them yourself: the connector creates shipments and retrieves tracking.
