Overview

How FAN Courier fits with myFulfillment

What is FAN Courier?

FAN Courier is a Romanian parcel carrier that uses selfAWB for business accounts, shipment documents, and tracking. In myFulfillment, its role starts after the order has been centralized and the parcel is ready to leave. The connection uses the recipient, service, parcel count, weight, and maximum dimensions. For a Romanian address it uses the domestic path; for another destination covered by the contract it uses the international path and its transport settings. FAN Courier returns a PDF and an AWB number, which myFulfillment attaches to the shipment. Carrier events can then be retrieved with their date, location, and message. The compared prices come from the carrier account configured in myFulfillment. The commercial relationship and shipping charges remain with FAN Courier.

From your store or marketplace to FAN Courier

An order from Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Amazon, or another connected channel enters myFulfillment first. The shipping rule selects FAN Courier based on the shipping method, warehouse, store, and country, then requests the label when the parcel is ready.

For FAN Courier, myFulfillment lists the services enabled on the account, applies each configured price, and adds a locally calculated delivery estimate. The comparison therefore reflects your carrier settings rather than a live quotation.

When the shopper's delivery choice matches a FAN Courier service, the shipping rule also considers the fulfillment site, store, and destination country. myFulfillment then assigns FAN Courier to the parcel before requesting its AWB number.

In practice

How our customers use FAN Courier day to day

In daily operations, FAN Courier handles the final shipping step for an order already organized in myFulfillment. The team checks the parcel, selects an enabled service, retrieves its label, and reviews carrier events without moving fulfillment work into selfAWB.

01
Create an AWB number for delivery in Romania

The Romanian address, service, parcel count, weight, and dimensions populate the request. The PDF and AWB number are attached to the shipment that is ready to leave the warehouse.

02
Ship with cash on delivery

When the contract's supported cash-on-delivery service (Collector Account) is selected, the order amount accompanies the FAN Courier shipment. The team avoids entering that amount a second time.

03
Review the carrier history from the shipment

Refreshing tracking for the AWB number retrieves FAN Courier events. Each event retains its date, location, and message, helping the team investigate a delivery exception.

04
Label an item received through cross-docking

A barcode-scanned item can be matched to the reserved single-item order, move straight to packing, and receive its FAN Courier label without long-term storage.

A comparable operation

Orders for Romania are already packed, but addresses, weights, and options must be entered a second time to obtain each FAN Courier label.

Data from the checked parcel populates the FAN Courier request. The label, AWB number, and carrier events are then stored on the shipment.

Getting started

Connect FAN Courier to myFulfillment, step by step

  1. 1Request a FAN Courier business quote, sign the contract for your destinations, and obtain your selfAWB username, password, and client ID.
  2. 2During onboarding, add the FAN Courier account in myFulfillment and enable only the services covered by your contract.
  3. 3Choose PDF A4, A5, or A6, the shipping payer, and, where needed, ePOD, SMS, and international-shipment settings.
  4. 4Test a representative order with its address, parcels, weight, and dimensions, then check the configured price, label, AWB number, and one tracking event.
Before you connect

An active FAN Courier contract and selfAWB credentials are required. Available services, destinations, and cash-on-delivery terms depend on that contract. Prices shown come from the carrier account settings in myFulfillment. Romanian addresses and international shipments follow separate FAN Courier paths. FANbox search and selection take place in FAN Courier's own tools. Events are stored in myFulfillment.

FAQ

FAN Courier: frequently asked questions

Start with a FAN Courier business contract. You then receive a selfAWB username, password, and client ID. During onboarding, the Boostmyshop team adds the account, enables the contracted services, sets the PDF size, and tests a representative shipment before routine processing begins.

myFulfillment sends the recipient, address, service, parcel count, total weight, maximum dimensions, shipping payer, and selected options. FAN Courier returns an A4, A5, or A6 PDF with an AWB number stored on the shipment.

Enabled services are compared using prices stored in the myFulfillment carrier account. A delivery estimate is calculated locally. The table therefore reflects your FAN Courier settings at selection time rather than a new quotation obtained from the carrier.

The AWB number returned with the label becomes the reference. When tracking is refreshed, myFulfillment retrieves FAN Courier events and stores each date, location, code, and message. That history stays attached to the shipment used by the operations team.

Yes, with FAN Courier's supported cash-on-delivery service (Collector Account). When that service is selected, the order total accompanies shipment creation. Cash-on-delivery terms remain those agreed in your carrier contract.

The connection separates Romanian addresses from the international path. For another destination it sends the country and applies the configured road or air mode and content type. Actual route and service eligibility always depend on the active FAN Courier contract.

FANbox search and selection take place in FAN Courier's own tools. The connection described here covers the shipment address, AWB creation, PDF label, configured prices, and carrier tracking events.

The Boostmyshop module is included with myFulfillment. FAN Courier bills shipping charges, options, and any commitments under your contract. Before launch, confirm the enabled services, shipping payer, stored prices, and cash-on-delivery terms.
