How Magento fits with myFulfillment
What is Magento?
Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce manage the storefront, catalog and checkout. The Boostmyshop Magento 2 connector adds the operational layer behind them: myFulfillment imports products and orders, controls inventory and warehouse execution, then writes shipment data back through the Magento Web API. It is an OMS and WMS for fulfillment work, not a finance or HR ERP. myPricing is the separate pricing layer for monitoring competitors and publishing approved prices.

Magento sales, one operating flow
A Magento order enters the same preparation queue as orders from the other connected channels. myFulfillment applies warehouse and carrier rules, prints the label, then returns shipment confirmation and tracking to Magento.
Magento sells, Boostmyshop picks, ships and prices
The connector reads each configured Magento store view and keeps only orders after the chosen start date in the selected states. That batch reaches myFulfillment every five minutes.

When Magento is enough, and when myFulfillment makes the difference
The connector is suitable when Magento should remain the commerce layer while one operational system controls orders, warehouses, inventory and shipping across channels.
- Web API connection without a required Magento module
- One OMS and WMS queue for Magento and other sales channels
- Separate, controlled price publication through myPricing
- Products and customer orders originate in Magento; myFulfillment does not create them there.
- Inventory ownership moves to myFulfillment after go-live, so Magento stock should not be edited manually.
- The connector covers operational fulfillment, not finance, payroll or HR.

How our customers use Magento day to day
The store team keeps Magento for commerce. Warehouse operators work in myFulfillment, where orders from Magento and other channels share the same inventory, picking and shipping rules. Pricing teams work separately in myPricing.
Filter orders by Magento store view and status, then prepare them alongside marketplace orders without switching between back-office systems.
Choose the myFulfillment warehouses that contribute to sellable inventory. Their total returns to Magento on the configured export.
Use myPricing to monitor competing offers, set floor and ceiling rules, review the result and enable price synchronization when the strategy is ready.

myFulfillment sits in the middle, so your Magento orders leave with the right carrier label and tracking flows back to the store. A few live pairings below.
Connect Magento to myFulfillment, step by step
- 1In Magento 2, create and activate a dedicated integration to obtain its access token.
- 2In myFulfillment, add a Magento 2 integration, then enter the store URL and access token.
- 3Choose the store view, import start date and order statuses to import.
- 4Map Magento shipping and payment methods to the values used in myFulfillment.
- 5Select the warehouses whose sellable inventory returns to Magento, then run the initial import.
- 6Test one order, one inventory quantity and one shipment confirmation before go-live.
The core myFulfillment connection uses the Magento 2 Web API and does not require a module. The optional Boostmyshop module adds stock detail and fulfillment progress inside Magento and speeds stock checks for large catalogs. Products must be created in Magento; orders must originate there. Inventory becomes myFulfillment-owned after go-live.
Magento: frequently asked questions
Pricing, setup, order and stock sync, carriers, worldwide selling and shipping: answers about the Magento integration.
Create and activate a dedicated integration in Magento 2, then enter the store URL and access token in myFulfillment. Map stores, order statuses, shipping and payment methods, select the warehouses feeding inventory and test each direction before go-live.
No. The core connector uses the Magento Web API, so product and order import plus inventory and shipment write-back do not require an extra module. An optional Boostmyshop module adds operational detail inside Magento and a faster stock endpoint for large catalogs.
Magento is the commerce platform for the catalog, storefront and checkout. myFulfillment provides the OMS and WMS functions behind it: order orchestration, warehouse and inventory management, picking, packing and shipping. It does not replace a finance or HR ERP.
The documented Magento order feed runs every five minutes. Product updates run after the initial import and then hourly. Other outbound feeds are scheduled during setup, so they should not be described as real time.
After go-live, myFulfillment should be the inventory authority. It totals inventory across the selected warehouses and exports the sellable quantity. A manual stock change in Magento can be overwritten by the next export.
Yes. The connector can filter a selected Magento store, while myFulfillment supports store warehouses and pickup workflows. The order keeps its pickup location so the matching store can prepare it for collection.
Yes. The Magento price-push path is confirmed. myPricing calculates prices within the seller's floor and ceiling rules, but synchronization must be enabled explicitly before an optimized price is sent to Magento.
No. Products are created in Magento and imported into myFulfillment. Customer orders also originate in Magento. myFulfillment operates on those records and returns inventory and shipment information.
Use a dedicated Magento integration access token. The documented administrator-account method is not recommended because two-factor authentication can interrupt the connection.
