Geodis integration: labels, manifests and tracking

The Geodis integration connects the myFulfillment packing station to the carrier's Webservices. A checked order becomes a Geodis shipment, the label returns to the same workflow and tracking stays attached to that shipment. The merchant keeps its own Geodis shipper account and transport contract.

Overview

How Geodis fits with myFulfillment

What is Geodis?

Geodis Distribution & Express transports parcels and pallets in France and across Europe. Its Shipment API lets shipper customers register and validate shipments, then print the labels. The Zoom API provides shipment tracking. myFulfillment places those exchanges inside the warehouse workflow for merchants shipping from France. Orders from connected sales channels enter one OMS, go to the right site and pass checks before packing. When the operator selects Geodis, the Boostmyshop module sends shipment data, retrieves the label and stores the tracking number with the order. The integration does not replace the Geodis customer portal or transport contract. It removes the extra step of entering the same data again between parcel or pallet preparation and manifest validation.

Geodis integration in the shipping workflow

Any eligible order already in myFulfillment can ship with Geodis, regardless of the storefront that created it. The OMS centralizes the order, the warehouse checks it, and the connector creates the shipment while keeping the label and tracking in the same record.

In practice

How our customers use Geodis day to day

In the warehouse, Geodis enters the workflow after the order check. The operator selects an allowed service, creates the shipment, prints the label and adds the parcel or pallet to the manifest without leaving myFulfillment.

01
Create a Geodis parcel at the packing station

Recipient details and parcel measurements come from the checked order. The shipment is registered and the Geodis label returns to the same packing station.

02
Route a pallet to the right service

The rule uses the shipping unit, weight and destination. The operator approves the Geodis service before printing the label.

03
Keep tracking with the right order

The Geodis number returned at creation remains attached to the shipment. The team handling delivery follow-up can also see the statuses retrieved through the Zoom API.

A comparable operation

Five storefronts, twenty marketplaces and four carriers including Geodis: labels had to remain inside one fulfillment workflow.

One A4 pick sheet with the Geodis label built in, followed by tracking sent to every channel after the scan.

Getting started

Connect Geodis to myFulfillment, step by step

  1. 1Open a Geodis shipper account, then ask your Geodis representative to enable the required APIs.
  2. 2During onboarding, ask the Boostmyshop team to enable Geodis in the myFulfillment integration setup.
  3. 3Validate the connection in the Geodis test environment before using the production key created in the Geodis customer portal.
  4. 4Map the allowed Geodis services to your rules for weight, destination, parcels or pallets.
  5. 5Test one complete shipment, including creation, label, manifest and tracking update, before opening the production workflow.
Before you connect

A Geodis shipper account and access to the relevant APIs are required. Geodis enables the rights and supplies the test environment; the Boostmyshop team configures the module in the myFulfillment integration setup. Verified connector scope covers parcel or pallet shipment creation, labels, configured rates, manifests and tracking. Any additional Geodis service is checked during scoping.

Romain Nury

The shipper account stays with Geodis. We map the allowed services and warehouse rules before operators start using the workflow.

FAQ

Geodis: frequently asked questions

Pricing, contract, carriers, Shopify, pickup points, worldwide selling and shipping: answers on the Geodis integration.

First open a Geodis shipper account and ask your representative to enable the required APIs. During onboarding, the Boostmyshop team activates Geodis in the integration setup, checks the test environment and validates one complete shipment before production.

Yes. Geodis reserves its production APIs for shipper customers. Transport and services remain billed on your Geodis contract; the Boostmyshop module uses that account without replacing it.

The Geodis Shipment API covers shipment registration and validation as well as label printing. The Zoom API supplies tracking data. This page describes only the functions verified in the Boostmyshop connector.

Yes. After the order check, myFulfillment sends the shipment to Geodis and retrieves the label document. The operator prints it at the packing station without re-entering the address or the parcel or pallet data in the Geodis customer portal.

The tracking number returns when the shipment is created. myFulfillment then queries the Geodis Zoom service on the configured schedule, records the status and events, and keeps that information with the relevant shipment.

Yes, once their eligible orders are in myFulfillment. The OMS centralizes those orders before carrier selection, so Geodis can be used without building a separate carrier connection for every sales channel.

Yes. The connector exposes Geodis parcel and pallet services, including express variants. The services actually available depend on your contract and are mapped to transport rules during setup.

Transport remains tied to your Geodis contract. In myFulfillment, allowed services and their configured rates feed the selection rule using weight, destination and shipping unit. The system proposes an option, and the operator approves it.
