Overview

How MyFlyingBox fits with myFulfillment

What is MyFlyingBox?

MyFlyingBox is a French multi-carrier shipping platform. For a given route and parcel, it presents the offers available in the merchant's account, then supports transport booking and shipment tracking. The Boostmyshop connector links those three tasks to the myFulfillment shipment record. It requests rates using the cities, postal codes, countries, weight, and dimensions provided for the parcel. Once an offer is selected, it creates the shipment, downloads the PDF label and stores the tracking reference. During a tracking refresh, it imports MyFlyingBox events and maps the latest event to an operational status. Orders reach myFulfillment from sales channels before the MyFlyingBox call, while cross-docking remains a myFulfillment warehouse process. The connector does not return pickup-point details, and its return-rate service returns an empty list.

For MyFlyingBox acceptance, I run the full path: quote, selected offer, PDF, parcel reference, then one tracking event read back in myFulfillment.

In practice

How our customers use MyFlyingBox day to day

In daily work, the operator starts from a shipment already prepared in myFulfillment. They review MyFlyingBox offers for that parcel, choose the service, retrieve the label and later find tracking events in the same record.

01
Compare offers for the parcel being shipped

The route, weight and dimensions come from the shipment. Each MyFlyingBox offer includes its service, price, and available parcel collection dates.

02
Print after the packing check

Once the offer is selected, the connector books transport, downloads the PDF, and attaches the parcel reference to the shipment after the packing check.

03
View tracking without switching records

A refresh queries MyFlyingBox, stores the returned events, and maps the latest state to an operational status for the operations team.

A comparable operation

Getting started

Connect MyFlyingBox to myFulfillment, step by step

  1. 1Create a MyFlyingBox account or sign in to your dashboard, then request the API access suited to your environment.
  2. 2During onboarding, ask the Boostmyshop team to enable the MyFlyingBox module in myFulfillment.
  3. 3Configure the test or production environment and the default parcel dimensions.
  4. 4Test a representative parcel: route, weight, dimensions, offer comparison, PDF label and tracking reference.
  5. 5Validate one tracking-event refresh before opening the flow to regular shipments.
Before you connect

A MyFlyingBox account with API access is required. The Boostmyshop team configures the module during onboarding and validates a test shipment first. The connector covers outbound rates, PDF label creation, parcel reference and tracking-event imports. Pickup-point details and return rates or labels remain outside this exchange. Available services depend on the MyFlyingBox account, route and parcel.

Quentin

FAQ

MyFlyingBox: frequently asked questions

Pricing, contract, carriers, Shopify, pickup points, worldwide selling and shipping: answers on the MyFlyingBox integration.

No. MyFlyingBox aggregates offers from multiple carriers for a route and parcel. In this integration, myFulfillment requests the offers, books the selected service and stores the label and tracking.

Create or open your MyFlyingBox account and have API access enabled. During onboarding, the Boostmyshop team configures the module and environment, then validates the configuration with a test parcel before production.

The request contains origin, destination and parcel characteristics, including cities, postal codes, countries, weight and dimensions. Available offers depend on that data and the MyFlyingBox account.

The connector turns each returned offer into a transport option with its service, price, and available parcel collection dates. The operator then selects an offer before the shipment is created.

After transport is booked, the connector downloads the PDF and attaches it to the myFulfillment shipment with the parcel reference. The operator stays at the packing station.

When tracking is refreshed on the configured schedule, the connector queries MyFlyingBox with the parcel reference, stores the returned history, and maps the latest event to an operational status.

No. The pickup-point lookup ends without returning any details to myFulfillment. That choice remains in the relevant sales channel or MyFlyingBox flow.

No. The connector's return-rate service returns an empty list. Return rates and labels must follow the process agreed upon with MyFlyingBox or the carrier.

The Boostmyshop module is included with myFulfillment. Transport services and any MyFlyingBox account charges remain subject to the merchant's plan; check current terms before deployment.
