How Shippo fits with myFulfillment
What is Shippo?
Shippo is a multi-carrier shipping platform. Its account provides access to the services enabled by Shippo and the carrier accounts linked to it. Shippo handles the transport layer: rates, label purchase and tracking. myFulfillment handles the work before and around that call: orders, inventory, preparation, scan checks and the shipment record. This page describes the verified integration between the two, not every feature Shippo offers directly.

The connector exposes Shippo methods in myFulfillment, including Chronopost, Colissimo, DHL, DPD and FedEx services found in the verified implementation. This list illustrates the module's network; the services actually offered depend on the Shippo account, origin, destination and parcel.

From a shipment, myFulfillment sends Shippo the cities, postal codes, countries and parcel data. The connector returns each option with its carrier, service, amount and currency.

At the shipping station, the operator starts from an order already prepared in myFulfillment. myFulfillment sends its parcel data to Shippo, the response lists a carrier, service, amount and currency, and the selected rate is then used to purchase the label.
The origin, destination, weight and dimensions are sent from the shipment. The team sees the services Shippo returns for that specific request.
After rate selection, the Shippo PDF and tracking number are saved on the shipment. The operator stays in the same record to finish the job.

Connect Shippo to myFulfillment, step by step
- 1Open a Shippo account or sign in to your existing account, then check the carriers and services available for your shipping zones.
- 2In Shippo, create a dedicated API token and keep it in your credential manager.
- 3During onboarding, ask the Boostmyshop team to configure the Boostmyshop module with that token, the label format and the expected carrier accounts.
- 4Test a representative parcel: address, weight, dimensions, rate, PDF label and tracking number.
