Shippo integration for multi-carrier shipping
Shippo brings multiple carrier services together behind one API. The Boostmyshop module places them at the myFulfillment shipping station: the team checks the services available for the parcel, selects a rate, retrieves the PDF label and keeps tracking in the shipment record.

How Shippo fits with myFulfillment
What is Shippo?
Shippo is a multi-carrier shipping platform. Its account provides access to the services enabled by Shippo and the carrier accounts linked to it. Shippo handles the transport layer: rates, label purchase and tracking. myFulfillment handles the work before and around that call: orders, inventory, preparation, scan checks and the shipment record. This page describes the verified integration between the two, not every feature Shippo offers directly.
Your operations cover orders, stock updates, barcode checks, and label creation.

The whole carrier network, through one connection.
One Shippo account, several services at the shipping station
The connector exposes Shippo methods in myFulfillment, including Chronopost, Colissimo, DHL, DPD and FedEx services found in the verified implementation. This list illustrates the module's network; the services actually offered depend on the Shippo account, origin, destination and parcel.
myFulfillment runs the picking, Shippo prints the label
From a shipment, myFulfillment sends Shippo the cities, postal codes, countries and parcel data. The connector returns each option with its carrier, service, amount and currency.
See the featureOnce the Shippo rate is selected, the Boostmyshop module purchases the label through the Shippo API. The PDF and tracking number are then attached to the shipment in myFulfillment.
See the featuremyFulfillment queries Shippo with the tracking number, stores the event history and maps the latest event to an operational status: new, in transit, delivered, canceled or error.
From Shippo to myFulfillment when tracking is refreshed
See the featureShippo is not the sales channel. Orders from your stores and marketplaces are imported into myFulfillment. At shipping time, myFulfillment sends Shippo the addresses and parcel data needed for the shipping request.
Internal myFulfillment flow before the Shippo shipping request

Inventory movement inside myFulfillment

When Shippo is enough, and when myFulfillment makes the difference
Our operator's read: Shippo provides multi-carrier access; the integration's value is placing that access inside the myFulfillment shipment record and warehouse control flow.
- Rates returned with carrier, service, amount and currency for the requested parcel
- PDF label and tracking number attached to the myFulfillment shipment
- Shippo history mapped to statuses the team can act on
- The carriers and services actually offered depend on the Shippo account, route and parcel
- Pickup points, return labels and cancellation remain outside this page's verified scope

How our customers use Shippo day to day
At the shipping station, the operator starts from an order already prepared in myFulfillment. myFulfillment sends its parcel data to Shippo, the response lists a carrier, service, amount and currency, and the selected rate is then used to purchase the label.
The origin, destination, weight and dimensions are sent from the shipment. The team sees the services Shippo returns for that specific request.
After rate selection, the Shippo PDF and tracking number are saved on the shipment. The operator stays in the same record to finish the job.
Tracking refresh retrieves Shippo events and their latest status. Customer service can find the parcel journey in myFulfillment.
Rates to check, parcel data to re-enter, then tracking to retrieve after shipment.
The Shippo request, label and tracking stay attached to the shipment in myFulfillment.

myFulfillment sits in the middle, so Shippo can create labels for orders received from your sales channels. A few live pairings below.
Connect Shippo to myFulfillment, step by step
- 1Open a Shippo account or sign in to your existing account, then check the carriers and services available for your shipping zones.
- 2In Shippo, create a dedicated API token and keep it in your credential manager.
- 3During onboarding, ask the Boostmyshop team to configure the Boostmyshop module with that token, the label format and the expected carrier accounts.
- 4Test a representative parcel: address, weight, dimensions, rate, PDF label and tracking number.
- 5Validate tracking refresh in myFulfillment before opening the flow to regular shipments.
A Shippo account and API token are required. The published scope covers rate retrieval, PDF label purchase and tracking retrieval. It does not claim pickup-point selection, return-label creation or shipment cancellation. Available services and charges remain those of the Shippo account.
Shippo: frequently asked questions
Pricing, contract, carriers, Shopify, pickup points, worldwide selling and shipping: answers on the Shippo integration.
No. Shippo aggregates services from several carriers behind one account and API. In this integration, myFulfillment sends shipment data to Shippo and retrieves rates, the label and tracking.
The verified implementation includes methods for Chronopost, Colissimo, DHL, DPD and FedEx. These are confirmed examples, not an exhaustive promise. Actual results depend on the accounts and services enabled in Shippo, as well as the route and parcel.
Generate an API token in your Shippo account, then have the Boostmyshop module configured during onboarding. Acceptance testing should cover a rate, PDF label, tracking number and one status refresh.
The verified request contains the cities, postal codes and countries for origin and destination, plus parcel data. Shippo then returns the carrier, service, amount and currency for each available option.
After the Shippo transaction, the connector downloads the PDF, records the tracking number and confirms the label on the myFulfillment shipment. These items stay attached to the operator's record.
The connector reads Shippo history and maps the latest event to myFulfillment operational states, including new, in transit, delivered, canceled or error.
The Boostmyshop module is included with myFulfillment. Shippo account and transaction charges depend on the merchant's plan and usage. Check Shippo's current pricing before setting the budget.
Those functions are not part of the verified scope published here. If your flow requires them, request explicit validation during scoping instead of inferring them from Shippo's wider platform features.
Shippo supplies the multi-carrier layer for rates, the label and tracking. myFulfillment centralizes orders, reserves inventory, guides fulfillment and attaches the documents to the shipment.
