How Spring GDS fits with myFulfillment

What is Spring GDS?

Spring GDS, short for Spring Global Delivery Solutions, is an international delivery company specializing in e-commerce and part of PostNL Group. It coordinates cross-border delivery through a network of carrier and postal partners, so another operator may complete the final mile. In myFulfillment, the Boostmyshop module acts once the shipment is ready for packing. It shows the services enabled for the account and sends Spring GDS the recipient details, parcel data, and contents. Spring GDS then returns the label and tracking number. When tracking is refreshed, myFulfillment adds Spring GDS events to the shipment history. For international parcels, myFulfillment also sends the duty and tax treatment and item-level customs data. Displayed prices come from the carrier account; Spring GDS does not provide a live quote.
