La Poste integration for tracked and registered mail

The La Poste integration connects orders already centralized in myFulfillment to business-mail services: tracked mail, postage-paid tracked mail, domestic or international registered mail, and Écopli. At packing, the Boostmyshop module generates the A6 PDF label, assigns the next number from the configured range, and attaches it to the shipment.

Overview

How La Poste fits with myFulfillment

What is La Poste?

This page covers La Poste's French business-mail services for documents and lightweight items sent as letters. Its current offer includes tracked green letters, registered mail, Écopli, and Frequenceo. The native connector verified in Boostmyshop code uses the services, account prices, postage-paid details, and tracking ranges configured in myFulfillment to produce labels at the packing station. This scope is separate from Colissimo: parcels, pickup points, and Colissimo returns have their own integration.

La Poste from any channel connected to myFulfillment

The La Poste integration handles any eligible order already centralized in myFulfillment, regardless of its source. The channel feeds the OMS, the operator prepares the shipment, then the Boostmyshop module produces the mail label and attaches the tracking number. Channel-specific combinations remain available in the integration gallery.

For La Poste, the tracking range is the critical setup check. Once it is loaded, each label consumes the next number without anyone re-keying it.

Our verdict

When La Poste is enough, and when myFulfillment makes the difference

Our operational view: this integration earns its place when tracked mail needs to leave from the same station as multi-channel orders, with contract numbering kept under control.

Strengths · Limits
Strengths
  • Five mail services explicitly present in the connector, from tracked mail to international registered mail
  • An A6 PDF label produced at packing with the address, reference, barcode, and configured postage-paid wording
  • The next tracking number is consumed from the contract range and attached to the shipment
Limits
  • Parcels, pickup points, and carrier return services belong to the Colissimo integration
  • Journey-event retrieval remains on La Poste's website or in a tracking layer separate from the mechanism evidenced here
  • Postage-paid and tracked services require the assigned contract references and number ranges before launch

In practice

How our customers use La Poste day to day

For an international merchant fulfilling from France, business mail can stay in the same preparation flow as every other order. The team selects the contracted La Poste service, checks the shipment, prints the label, and keeps the tracking number on the shipment without returning to each store back office.

01
A lightweight order leaves as tracked mail

An eligible order already in myFulfillment reaches the packing station; the Boostmyshop module generates the A6 label with its address, reference, and next available tracking number.

02
Postage-paid wording follows the contract

For the relevant services, the label uses the authorization, special-service wording, product code, and deposit location configured for the La Poste account.

03
Registered mail follows its own label route

Domestic and international registered services produce their PDF document from the same preparation queue, using the service selected on the shipment.

04
Cross-docking closes at packing

An item received for an allocated order can move directly from the operator check to packing, where its La Poste mail label is generated.

A comparable operation

Orders spread across channels, references re-keyed, and tracked-mail labels prepared away from the packing station.

One preparation queue, then the La Poste label and its tracking number generated at packing.

Getting started

Connect La Poste to myFulfillment, step by step

  1. 1Confirm the mail services on your La Poste contract and obtain your assigned tracking-number range.
  2. 2In the Boostmyshop module, enter the postage-paid authorization, service wording, and product code when the chosen service requires them.
  3. 3Configure the tracking range and account prices used for each enabled mail service.
  4. 4Run a test preparation: the A6 PDF label should print and the tracking number should be attached to the shipment.
Before you connect

Tracked services require a tracking-number range assigned to the contract. Postage-paid services also require the authorization, service wording, and product code expected on the label. This page describes the native mail connector verified in Boostmyshop code; La Poste's Lettre API and Suivi v2 API are separate interfaces.

Romain Nury

Mail and parcels are different connectors. We keep La Poste for letter services and route parcel shipments through Colissimo.

FAQ

La Poste: frequently asked questions

Pricing, contract, carriers, Shopify, pickup points, worldwide selling and shipping: answers on the La Poste integration.

The La Poste integration on this page covers the mail services present in the connector: tracked mail, postage-paid tracked mail, domestic registered mail, international registered mail, and Écopli. Colissimo covers parcels, home or pickup-point delivery, and its own return services. Parcel shipments should therefore use the Colissimo integration.

The current code exposes five services: tracked mail, postage-paid tracked mail, domestic registered mail, international registered mail, and Écopli. La Poste's official 2026 offer confirms tracked green letters, registered mail, and Écopli as current business services. The service you enable depends on your contract.

Have your business-mail contract and assigned tracking-number range ready. For postage-paid services, setup also asks for the authorization number, special-service wording, and product code. Prices used for comparison are configured on the carrier account.

At packing, the Boostmyshop module builds an A6 landscape PDF. It places the recipient address, order reference, barcode, and tracking number on the label. For postage-paid services, it adds the configured contract wording.

The Boostmyshop module reads the last number used, takes the next one from the configured range, calculates the printed identifier, and attaches it to the shipment. The range is therefore an operational prerequisite to check before the first shipment.

The verified scope of this connector covers generating the number and attaching it to the shipment. The recipient can view the journey on La Poste's website. A Suivi v2 API exists on the Okapi portal, but this page does not present it as the Boostmyshop connector's mechanism.

La Poste publishes a Lettre API for preparing tracked and registered mail from a partner platform. The connector documented here follows another mechanism verified in code: postage-paid values, account prices, and tracking ranges configured in myFulfillment.

Each enabled service receives a price on the carrier account. The Boostmyshop module then calculates the options from those configured amounts and the shipment. These are your account prices, not a live quote from the La Poste API.

Yes, for the return record: myFulfillment manages the request, receipt, inspection, and refund or exchange decision. Postage for the return journey depends on the postal solution arranged separately; this page does not attribute a native return label to the mail connector.

No. La Poste acts at the preparation stage. Any eligible order already present in myFulfillment can use the configured mail service, regardless of the store or marketplace where it originated.

Frequenceo is La Poste's flat-rate postage offer for businesses and public organizations, with built-in tracking for mail items under 3 kg. The Boostmyshop connector exposes its own services and settings; the onboarding team confirms which ones match your contract.
