How UPS fits with myFulfillment
What is UPS?
UPS is a global parcel carrier: more than 200 countries and territories served, around 20.8 million packages delivered per day, and the UPS Access Point pickup network, 5,000 locations in France and nearly 40,000 across Europe (2024). What UPS does not provide is the warehouse operation behind the parcel. myFulfillment adds that layer: a warehouse management system that centralizes multi-channel orders, runs picking and packing, and prints the UPS label under your own carrier contract.

Applies your carrier rule and prints the UPS label at packing.
Home or pickup-point delivery, tracking sent back to the sales channel.
UPS with any sales channel
A single UPS integration covers every channel that feeds myFulfillment: the PrestaShop, Shopify, WooCommerce or Amazon order flows into the OMS, goes through preparation, gets its UPS label under your contract, then the 1Z number travels back to the originating channel to trigger the customer notification. The UPS combinations by channel are detailed further down the page.
myFulfillment runs the picking, UPS prints the label
UPS labels are generated from the order through the UPS Shipping API, under the merchant's own contract: GIF for a desktop printer, ZPL for a thermal one, printed singly or in batch at picking time.
See the featureThe 1Z number returned by UPS lands on the order then travels back to the originating sales channel. The UPS Track API exposes status, scan history and expected delivery date, with 120-day retention.
Outbound: 1Z number to the sales channel and the customer, when the label is printed.
See the featureOrders from every channel are centralized in myFulfillment and then shipped with UPS: the shipment is created through the UPS Shipping API. If it is canceled in myFulfillment, its tracking records and documents are deleted locally and its status is reset; no void request is sent to UPS.
Inbound: validated and paid orders, synced about every 5 minutes.
See the featureWhen an order carries a UPS Access Point, the connector retrieves the pickup point address from the UPS Locator service and adds it as the delivery address when it creates the label.
See the featureFor a UPS return shipment, myFulfillment requests a UPS Print Return Label through the same shipping flow. The operator prepares the label before the parcel is handed to UPS.
See the featureBefore printing the label, myFulfillment queries the UPS Rating API for eligible services and shows their price and estimated delivery date. When the account uses negotiated rates, it uses the negotiated amount returned by UPS.

How our customers use UPS day to day
Day to day, merchants who connect UPS to myFulfillment run every channel from one screen: the order arrives, the operator picks and packs, myFulfillment prints the UPS label under their own contract and writes the 1Z number back to the originating store or marketplace.
They replace the one-plugin-per-store model with a single connection: PrestaShop, Shopify or WooCommerce orders flow into the OMS and all leave through the same UPS lane.
International sellers fulfilling from France ship worldwide on the same flow: UPS serves more than 200 countries and territories from a single merchant contract.
They print the UPS label in GIF on a desktop printer or in ZPL on a thermal one, singly or in batch at picking time.
The integration runs on the merchant's existing UPS contract: UPS bills through the usual payment method, at the fixed or negotiated rates of the account.
One UPS plugin per store, labels printed one at a time, tracking re-keyed channel by channel.

myFulfillment sits in the middle, so UPS works with any sales channel that feeds it: every order comes in from a channel, leaves with the right UPS label, and tracking flows back to the customer. A few live pairings below.
Connect UPS to myFulfillment, step by step
- 1Connect your UPS account to myFulfillment: the connector handles the OAuth 2.0 authorization UPS requires, with no key handling.
- 2Define your UPS shipping rules: service by weight and destination, home delivery or Access Point pickup.
- 3During preparation, the operator keeps the UPS service the rule proposes, or changes it case by case.
- 4myFulfillment prints the UPS label in GIF or ZPL and writes the 1Z number back to your store.
A UPS account with a merchant contract is required; authorization uses OAuth 2.0. myFulfillment drives the preparation, label printing and tracking write-back; UPS carries the parcel, domestically and internationally.
UPS: frequently asked questions
Pricing, contract, carriers, Shopify, pickup points, worldwide selling and shipping: answers on the UPS integration.
Through one connector on the myFulfillment side, each channel feeds the OMS and orders ship with UPS from the same preparation station. UPS's official route is a separate plugin per store; with myFulfillment, one UPS connection covers all your channels. The combinations by channel are listed further down the page.
Yes. UPS serves more than 200 countries and territories, and international orders follow the same preparation flow as domestic parcels. Merchants fulfilling from a French warehouse or 3PL connect their stores and marketplaces to myFulfillment and ship everything under one UPS contract.
Yes. The integration runs on your own UPS account: UPS bills the transport through the contract's payment method, the same model UPS documents for its own e-commerce plugins. You connect the account once during setup.
Yes. The rate applied is your contract's, fixed or negotiated, as UPS documents for its integrations. The UPS Rating API exposes those rates so services can be compared before the label is printed.
UPS labels are generated through the Shipping API, in GIF for a desktop printer or ZPL for a thermal one, singly or in batch at picking time, without leaving the preparation station.
UPS retired its legacy access keys: every integration now requires OAuth 2.0 authorization, which broke many older connectors, as merchants have reported. The myFulfillment connector handles that authorization at setup, with no key handling on the operator side.
Once the chosen Access Point is stored on the order, the connector sends its identifier to the UPS Locator service. It then adds the location address to the shipment when it creates the label.
Yes, in eight European markets including France: UPS extended its Standard service to Saturday residential delivery without surcharge (announced September 2024). Check your contract's service list for the destinations you ship to.
For a UPS return method, myFulfillment requests the Print Return Label service through the UPS Shipping API. The label is created through the same shipping flow before it is sent to the customer.
